This policy describes what ZeroSugar.ai collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to describe what the site actually does rather than to cover every situation in the abstract, and it will be updated when the site changes.

The short version

ZeroSugar.ai is a reference site. You can read every guide and comparison without giving us anything. The only information you can choose to hand over is an email address for early access. We do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not have user accounts, logins, or payments.

What we collect when you sign up for early access

If you submit the early-access form, we store:

• your email address;
• your first name, if you choose to give one — it is optional;
• the interests you selected, or the one implied by the page you signed up from;
• the page you signed up from, as a path such as /sweeteners/erythritol/, so we know which guides people find useful;
• your IP address and the date and time of the submission, as a basic anti-abuse record.

That record is stored in this site’s own database and a copy of the submission is emailed to the site owner. We use it to tell you when the tools you asked about go live, and for nothing else. We do not add you to unrelated lists, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers.

What we collect from everyone

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages get read and how people arrive. It sets cookies and reports usage data to Google. It records things like the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you use. Google’s handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Analytics is not run for signed-in site administrators.

If you would rather not be measured, browser-level tracking protection, an ad blocker, or Google’s opt-out add-on will all prevent it, and nothing on the site will stop working.

Infrastructure

Three services sit between you and this site and necessarily see your IP address as a consequence of delivering pages to you:

• Cloudflare — routes and protects traffic, and may set cookies for security purposes;
• BunnyCDN — serves images, stylesheets and scripts from a server near you;
• Google Fonts — serves the two typefaces the site uses.

The site also runs Wordfence, a security plugin that logs request details including IP addresses in order to block attacks.

Standard web server logs are kept on our own server for operational and security purposes.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent personal information.
• We do not run advertising or share data with ad networks.
• We do not have user accounts, so there is no profile being built about you here.
• We do not take payments on this site.
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

How long we keep things

Early-access records are kept until you ask us to remove them, or until the early-access programme ends and the list is no longer needed. Server and security logs are kept for a limited operational period and then rotated out. Analytics retention is governed by the settings in Google Analytics.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we will act on it. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.

Depending on where you live you may have specific rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA — including access, correction, deletion, and objecting to certain processing. We will honour those requests regardless of where you live, because it is simpler and fairer than checking.

Every email we send will have a one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing removes you from the list.

A note on what this site is

ZeroSugar.ai publishes educational information about sweeteners and sugar reduction. It is not medical or dietary advice, and using the site does not create any professional relationship. Nutrition and regulatory details change — verify against the cited primary sources before relying on them for formulation or health decisions.

Changes

When this policy changes we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle information already collected from you, we will say so directly rather than relying on you noticing.
